I have a 1973 Cobalt that i would like to sell this summer so i can get a new boat at this winters boat show. Would like to sell it in Aug, but want to get it out there. It is a great boat 2nd owner (My dad got it from the orig owner) and it has been in our fam for the last 15 years. All in working order, just had the lower unit looked over, adjusted... oiled... new pump... nice shape. new seats in the rear (all 6) could use open bow seats (tops fine just rips in bottoms near the base).

Motor is a ford 302 with the 888 out drive. motor is solid, just a ford (COLD) but after she starts once she is good to go (fine if ran once a week or so if not little shot of starter spray in the carb and she is off)

only real bad is the trailer... it is in working order, but do not know where the title is... the boat was taged in OK all its life on Grand Lake.... In OK we and PO did not ever tag the trailer.... so when i moved to MO i just did not tag the trailer... I was told it was not hard to do to get one, i just did not want to do it. I just pull it from my house two blocks to the boat ramp and then home.

Price is OBO, i think a good working boat with a pole nice wake is worth 2500, but if i am off my rocker let me know. I will pull it anyplace to you (has new tires) if you want to pay for the gas, and must pay up front (BO not full asking price).

if you want more info email me at brettmcox@hotmail.com or call 816- 582- 4271

if you found one of these with a new motor and new int. for 2000 to 3000 I would go with that and not mine... if they are asking for more then 3000 I would not go for it...

The wake on mine is good (boat is about 4k with no weight) and not that wide so it make a good wake for the price.

you'll get a lot more interest and look less stupid if you post this in "boats for sale - more than 5 yrs old". people reading this topic aren't looking to buy - hence the "how's the wake" question.
