Has anyone used two smaller trim tabs on each side of the boat before. I went fishing with my brother-n-law, and he had two on each side of his boat 24' long. i asked to put down one trim plate and the boat went side ways just like putting ballast all on one side of the boat. Does anyone think this would work for wakeboard specfic boat? Using two smaller trim tabs on each side.

please try it out and tell us i've been thinking about it for a while. Id think there would be even more benefit if the tab could extend above horizontal in the up position

I want to try this on my dad's 42 foot Ocean Alexander. That could be some fun stuff. 20 people hanging out partying while people are surfing.

hijack: Brett, fisheries is great store but im not working theit right know, im out in bozeman Mt for school, still have many friends their. Blanchard is great i've sent many customers that way over the years. I also worked for cope woodinville last year and met you at their summer demo days in renton.

about the tabs, ed i know your a bit of a do it your self guy. When your putting together your parts check out fisheriessupply.com they stock bennet tabs and the lenco which is an electric stlye. I can get you a pretty nice discount, and they'll happily special order anything you need if its not stocked. Im looking to do the same thing on the elite v this summer so i'd be interested in sharing ideas.

WA, I'm bringing the boat home from storage tomorrow for some cleanup and a good look over. I need top take a measure the Side Swipe system. I need to find out if Side Swipe will interfere with trim tab installation. I should have the new boat out on the water next weekend.

I'll let you know about the trim tabs, thanks for the offer.

i have that trim tab setup on my 01 Supra Sunport SSV instead of the single middle trim tab. it makes a big difference in shifting the boats weight to either side, especially in surfing, i dont use it for wakeboarding because it doesnt leave the wake as clean. i havent had the boat for very long, so im still dialing the wave. it tends to be very steep, which makes it awesome for surfing but hard to trick on.

Kyle, try putting more weight in the bow to lengthen out the pocket. A friend of mine has an 22 ft, 04 Supra. He says that the surf wake with stock ballast is very good. There was a hull change so I don't think that the current 22 footer surfs as well but I don't have first hand experience.
