I did it - I sold my 07 promo and sign for the 08 on Tue.
I thought I would get y'all stoked on my new set up that Im gonna play with at the Muncie Wakesurf event starting noon on 6/28.
The hull on the 21V has a very wide 100 inch beam and is very flat. It has proven to be one of the most stable wakeboard wakes for not rolling over. That make is very hard to wakesurf behind unless you really sac it out. So that whats gonna happen. I just ordered 3 x 1150lb bags. Believe it or not they actually fit. I know it can throw a great wake on the passanger side but Ive never sacked out the drivers side. See you there. Oh Yea Ill post a pic within a week - It just came to the dealership and is getting ready for prep.
Cool, I'm looking forward seeing more and to surfing behind it. I only wakeboarded behind you’re ’06 21V a few times but I really liked that wakeboard wake.
I should have my new boat in the water next weekend, the anticipation is killing me.
First day on the water. My friend Brad is driving. Oh - the pic is taken at the Muncie WaterBowl. This might be the only time you will ever see the swim platform or the white strip. Gotta break the engine in.
Chris-Beautiful Ride! I am a big Supra fan and they have definitely stepped up their game over the past few years.
On the Surf Wake- I couldn't agree with you more about having to 'SAC-OUT' the 21v's. Previously, I had a 250lb stock bag in each rear locker and then the 680lb. in the center locker. I had to have a TON of people in the boat to get the wake to be 'ok'...upgraded my sacs over the winter and just went out yesterday for the 1st time with the new sacs...HOLY...'fill in the blank'! What a difference!
I upgraded to the gravity games bags (580's in each rear and 1180 in center locker) plus some extra sacs. We played around with the configuration. We only had 2 people in the boat, and 1 riding.
What we found worked best is- -filled all 3 sacs in the lockers -then (2) 600lb. bags in the bow on the side that you are surfing. we had to get 'creative' on how we stacked the (2) 600lb. bags, but we did it and they didn't fall out of the boat (LOL!) a little 'ghetto looking' but it worked. -wakeplate all the way up (so pin on the wakeplate gage all the way back towards the back of the boat)
Can't wait to get more people in the boat too! After 2 frustrating seasons of trying to get this wake dialed in, I think we finally got it.
No-we forgot the camera, I'll post pics from today's outing...
Chris-Can't wait to see the SAC'd out WG edition...(3) 1150's...Insanity!
Here the first pics 1150 front bag full with rear 1150 bag as full as it would go with the built in cooler in the way (guess about 850) + crew of 4. First pic is me and the rest is Ty Steele of OH
Oh I forgot wake plate at 0% to 50% depending on where people were sitting. That middle to all the way up
