I've been battling a cold, so I've been housebound for the day. My father, who is in his 80's gave some old instruments to James. Dear old dad was an engineer and spent most of his career in rubber and urethane production...and I think he hated wood. :-)

Check these two Shore Durometers - these must be circa 1940.

A Hasler speed indicator...this can read rotating (spindle rotating speed) or surface speeds (conveyor belt line speed). The Hasler-Tel Company was formed around 1919. I wonder if it is still around?

Check the General Electric "Light Meter" - I love the plate on the back:

The Type D shore hardness of EVA foam traction from X Track is 15 :-)

Since there isn't much happening in wakesurfing at the moment, anyone else got pictures of antiques, especially tools or boards and NO FAIR posting pictures of me! :-)

LOL - just get me over this stupid cold! I can't even go into the shop to destroy any foam! :-)

It's kind of amazing (to me at least) how classy/respectable those antique tools look in their casing, especially the first two items; if I opened my Mitutoyo dial mic' 50 years from now in its HPDE (maybe PVC case) I wouldn't be as impressed.

Love the antique equipment! Consider yourself lucky Jeff (I'm sure you do), that is a unique thing to have access to. I wish the cabin was open at the moment, we have a bunch of antique tools and equipment...
