Nope...not there. Whoever it was said they would ship it Monday (which would have been Nov 26) but I haven't received anything. Just wanted to find out if it's lost in the mail or if I got screwed.

Give me a break. May have been a bad choice of words but you know what I mean. I posted things to give away and they have already been shipped. If I tell someone I am going to do something I do it. I'd like people to do the same. Or maybe I should just claim a bunch of stuff on the free thread, say I'm going to ship something in return, never ship it, and live happily ever after. Geez.

I think it was a fine choice of words. You did get screwed. You got screwed cuz some greedy whiners took too much loot and then bitched about it. Cut him some slack guys.

LOL, the thread was about 'giving'. The only way you get screwed in a thread about giving is if you don't 'give'. If the thread was about 'getting', then he'd have an argument. For some reason people every year associate this thread with 'trading'....its supposed to be about giving.

Why do you give helix rider? To make others happy. Taft was lined up to be a little bit happier when his package arrived one random day. Or perhaps he was going to give it to someone else who would in turn be a little bit happier. The point is now he's disappointed because of all the other jackasses out there. Not because he thought it was a Trading post. People on both sides go too extreme. Can't we just have some common frickin' sense anymore!!!?!!!!

Nick, I would be careful who you start calling a jackass. Chances are the dude who shipped Taft his item was involved with a Thanksgiving trip and didn't get to it immediately. The item is probably on Taft's front porch right now. I gave 3 DVDs and shipped them out to the 'claimants' right away...cause I was home. I 'claimed' a pair of Marius fins...and haven't received them yet. Did I get 'screwed?' My answer is 'no' because I took part in the 'giving' which was the whole point of the thread. If I never see the fins that doesn't take away from my giving. I agree that Taft could be disappointed if his item doesn't come, but that is the 'strongest' word I would use.
