i've noticed this summer that my left shoulder has been really sore during riding. if i raise my arm now, it pops. im thinking it cant be a good thing.

anybody else have this problem? did you just ride through it, or do you wear a brace or anything?

i dont have that problem but i have worked with athletes that have the same problem...sounds like an injury to your glenoid labrum (ring of cartilage that holds your arm in the socket of your shoulder blade). i wouldnt recommend riding through it, as you could cause further injury. best bet would be an MRI...but depending on how much you love to ride and how long your season is, i say ride on brotha

just get it checked out....it could be your labrum, or it could be a tear in one of the 4 rotator cuff muscles, the popping alone doesnt diagnose anything.

deca used to be great for me when i had rotator cuff problems. it would always fix it right up. not that i am recommending that or anything.....

I just got over rotater cuff injury from wakeboarding. Sounds exactly like mine. If it hurts when you try and like put your arm on back of couch, that would be a positive indication! I still rode, but it was sore. I had surgery in Dec. and back at it in June.
