ridden hyperlite for a long time. I am not too pleased with my current ride 06 murray way to slow. Anyway I have noticed that liquid force is much lighter board. I don't have a local dealer so can you guys offer some input on how their most popular boards ride?
Thanks in advance.

I have just tried my new Lyman 139 and was pretty impressed. I rode it without the removable fins and still it held a solid edge while being loose when flat. It also pops really well and lands smooth. Even though it was my first day, I felt like I have been riding this board for the past two years.

Tony Finn founder of LF invented wakeboarding with the Skurfer. They have always been great boards IMO. I have ridden them since LF's first board, the Free 135. I have been able to demo boards through my local shop for $40 a weekend. This is really the only way to buy a board if you really want the right one. Try every board you can. I used to ride the original Trip 132 and upgraded last year to a Watson 134 after riding almost their entire pro lineup. When you ride the right one you'll know.

I don't have a local dealer, so I can't demo. So basically I am looking for subjective feedback. Thanks for the help cyprus. Also, I am familar with Hyperlite so if you can compare ride to hl that would help as well

At our shop you can demo for free. If you are interested in a road trip, I can meet you at the lake with several boards. The Lyman is very popular this summer, as well as the Watson & PS3. The Vantage bindings are incredible!

only if you're a consistent rider.

consistency isn't found in boards. it's result from a rider's application of proper technique on every jump/trick.

true however, some boards are easier to get consistent pop just as some wakes are easier, unless of course you have perfect form.

Also, wake consistency probably plays a huge role in how you feel about boards...sometimes, I'll try a board out in a bit of wind, and absolutely hate it, but then in glass, I love it. Some boards just seem to handle chop a bit better, regardless of how small it is.
