Anyone been out there lately? I heard it's at 34%, and dropping fast. I'm planning a trip in early November, but slightly concerned what it's going to be like.

Naci's around 12%, right?!?!

Mike, I was out there the weekend before labor day and it was the lowest I've ever seen it. There's an auxilary launch ramp in use on the North Shore. The ramp near the convenience store was closed. The aux ramp is basically a dirt road down to the water. It's really long, so your back up skills are tested a bit more than usual. Many of the fingers/coves in the N. Shore are pretty much mud and dry. That beings said IMO they do a good job of marking under objects and such. Check out the find a third be a third section under Naci and you'll see some current pics of what Naci is looking like these days. GL.

Where will you be staying at, North / South Shore?

Thanks Antonio. We camp at North shore. Sounds pretty bad, but in November I would only expect to see a few boats all day.

It was beautiful last weekend. Pretty low, but no ill effects from being that low except on the north shore. Looks like a long haul down to the water. We camp south shore, so we had no worries. Pretty much deserted on weekdays, so very nice.

The weekend we were there, there was hardly anyone out, so November should be money.

Let me know if you need a third..lol<<< Shameless plug during the week!!

So, keep it down by the dam, eh. How is the camping at Northshore? Any flat areas? What is the best road to camp on? Thanks a million guys.

Dave - Thanks for the shot. We haven't been out to San Antonio since July. I love the rolling hills! Great looking boat, by the by. You need to get that WW sticker on there!

Dave, are you effing kidding me?!?! I like to think that as a loyal WakeWorld alum, I would at least get the opportunity to come look at the new ghost and maybe take a picture. But that's cool, I see where I stand!

Joking aside, hope it was fun. And thanks for the video!!

The family and I rode yesterday and the riding conditions were excellent even with the few other boats on the lake. We launched from the south shore. The only good thing about the lake being this low is there are of lot beach available for daycamping. We're hoping to get down there a few more times before we call it a season.

any updates?

San Antonio doesn't fluctuate like Naci. They are presently only releasing 10 cfs so the lake hasn't changed much since mid September.

Does anyone know if they are conducting mussle inspections at San Antonio? I heard they were thinking about implementing them.

We were there Sunday after the big wind event on Saturday night and the riding conditions were surprisingly good despite the cool air temp. Water was still refreshing with just trunks and a heater top. No mussel inspections were being conducted. Probably heading down again next week.

Currently no inspections are being conducted for mussles. The lake level has been worse in the past from what i've been told. Now is actually a better time to go to lake San Antone, much less people obviously and relatively glassy water.

Thanks. I'm thinking about heading down on Saturday.

Went out on Sunday afternoon (the calm before the storm) emphasis on calm. The weather was sunny in the high 60's and clear. Launched from south shore and rode between there and the dam. Never made it up towards the north shore ramp. Water temp were a bit cooler than last Sunday but still in trunks and neo top. Maybe a half dozen boats at the most but a couple of those were hardcore tubers still fine riding conditions nonetheless. Looked like plenty of campsites available too. That's all I got for you.

Thanks Nick. Still looks great. I would love to see a current picture of the auxiliary northshore ramp, just to see how bad (long) it is.

Just spoke with someone at San Antonio. Looks like there’s a big project in Salinas, which may need a lot of water. Meaning, San Antonio would drain to “minimum pool” on November 2nd. If this occurs, the lake would only exist from the south shore ramp to the dam. WHO KNOWS, maybe the lady was on crack too.

Has anyone else heard this rumor?

Thought I would send this up to the top. Has anyone been there lately? Any updates?

Was out all last weekend. Water was lo-mid 60's and very comfortable. It was pushing 90 last weekend and we all trunked it. Definitely some wallies pulling tubes through the butter but overall an epic weekend.
