Hi, I have been wakeboarding from the beginning of this summer and i can clear wakes and do halfcabs and i was thinking about investing in a tower or pylon. i want to know what noticable diffrences between the two there is when you are riding and which one of the two u would recommend. can u mount everything on a pylon as u can a tower? i have never ridden behind a boat with a tower or pylon so please help me out as much as u can.

Thanks!

If your going for lowest budget then check out www.diyTower.com and make your own pylon.

Check out http://www.worldwakeboardcouncil.com/links.html for a list of all the companies that make towers and pylons if you want to by one.

Pylons get the job done and cost a lot less but the wires will eventually drive you crazy if you keep buming into them. Towers are much nicer but take longer to install and cost more.

pylons, when u are cutting out it will rock the boat more then w/ a tower. Towers look better and it gets the boards off to the side if u get board racks instead of them bein right on top of u w/ a pylon. And like he said the wire will drive u crazy!! lol The towers give more room for speakers and lights if u are wanting to put that stuff on there too..good luck!
