Any feedback on the new (at least to me) film-covered ropes like Accurate's A-Line or Straight Line's Thermal?

Are they awesome due to no tangling, or annoying to deal with coiling or whatnot because they are too stiff?

Pointers much appreciated.

Check out the Proline Cable plus. Uses a better rope on the inside and has a much cleaner look. I've had mine since April, used probably eight times, no knots, glides through your hands, I love it.

Had my A-Line since January, used it at least two dozen times and it's worth every penny.

For those screaming A-Line, I held them side by side and chose the CablePlus. You obviously never looked at the Proline. It is a much better looking rope. Same coated rubber but uses a better inner rope.

Where is the best place to get the proline cable plus? I have looked online and can't seem to find any. Also, how much do they run?

Gotta say go with the A-line, coils great, glides thru the fingers, and the 5 foot mark offs are a nice touch too. I had a straight line 1st and it didnt coil very well and didnt pay out well when releasing it either.
But dont know much about the cable plus line.

Thanks all for your feedback. They sound pretty nice.

Anyone having seen what the sun can do to these things - cracking, delamination whatever - or have they not been around for long enough?

Yeah, Hype's propaganda says something that it won't, but then again my slider base Premier wasn't the best slider material either...
