I'm considering removing all the decals except for the Supra logo on my boat. Skier's Choice cleverly placed the Boatmate and a few others directly under or in the area of the cleats, so some of them are messed up. Also, on the Supra logo one of them are messed up from a fender rubbing on it. If this were you're boat, would you remove everything?

Get rid of 'em. Your boat will look great without the decals.

Before I read what you wrote, I looked at your pictures and said to myself, "remove all but the Supra logo and that would look amazing". I say go for it!

Do it. I removed all the decals off my old 205 after I'd owned it for a year or so. It was like having a new boat again. I'll probably do the same thing with the Vride before long too.

Posted on the Supra forum too, but... do it! While you're at it, you should consider installing the chrome-like Supra decal across the back, and the same chrome-like 24SSV decal on the side. It would look sharp with your wheels.

Guess I'm in the overwhelming minority...lol. I say to keep them... BTW... I've always loved your color combo on your boat, as I've seen it posted b4.

Do they come from the factory with al those decals on them? If so, why? i can't think of anyone i know that would want all those decals on them unless they were getting paid to advertise for the companies.

John, yes the Gravity Games Edition boats come with the decals from the factory.... They also have more standard options, and different color/decal options.

Most of the 24SSV's that I looked at before buying this one had the same options except for the custom trailer and the decals. I think the decals are what sets the Gravity Games apart from the standard SSV's, but honestly I don't care. I think it'll look much better without all the free advertising. Plus, a lot of the decals are placed to where docking and mooring lines rub them. The OJ Props decals on both sides are screwed up from fenders hanging over them.

Dude, that looks a million times better and much more classy. Who cares if people can't tell its a GG ed. A bad ass boat is still a bad ass boat.

Why advertise if your not getting any money from them. It's not like Indmar is going to let you put an ad on one of their vehicles. Toast them!

Personally I'd get rid of the supra too. I'm just a fan of the clean look. My boat, moto bike and snowmobile all have no decals.

I think totally peeled is better for older boats that way it dates them less. Newer boats look better with a little something identifying them. IMO

I agree with Hate. For older boats, it's ok but I think with newer boats, during a resale, it can help because of brand recognition.

I have the same boat... I have debated this as well but was not sure what it would do to the resale value. The decal kit is over $900 from the dealer so I don't want that to hurt the value as it is the only boat to come with them from the factory, yet would be without them later. They don't bother me though so I will wait till they get torn up to remove them.

If the decals are currently messed up, or on their way to getting messed up, get rid of them, it makes the boat look old and roughed up. Great looking boat either way.

Thanks for the compliments fellas. I think I'll start by peeling the non-paid sponsors first and see what that looks like. Thanks for the posts!

Maybe think about pulling off the little hook above the Supra logo, and just leaving the Supra.

No right or wrong here and both ways look good but I am in the minority and think the decals add more than they detract. In your post you say the decals are damaged, they look good in your pic, but if they are frayed then I would get rid of them.

A few of them are damaged because they're under the cleats, so mooring lines and fenders have rubbed them off.
