Anyone got any thoughts on a good head unit to replace my crappy stock Clarion XMD2 sterio/CD.
Has to have an MP3 hook up. We are out on the water, good tune lots of base
and this piece of junk just quits. I mean no power at all. Then even after you reset the micro processor like the manual tells you to it still won't turn on and the worst thing is it still has my Sublime cd stuck in it when it shut down. Then after about 3-4 days it starts working. Stange!!
Thanks TK

check the connections on the back, you may have to reset the wires in the plugs themselves (or widen them a bit to fit better) at least that is what happened to mine. then it worked well until i traded the boat in. now have the xmd3, it has aux inlets.
