Video and photos of Minnesota's finest.

As many of you may have heard in the other post, Minnesota rider Colin Ryan recently blew his ACL on a trip to Florida. I thought I would post some photos and video I had been saving of Colin and Andy Nintzel for a while for whatever reasons.

Both the video and photos were all taken during a two day shoot while Kyle Chattin was in town. The boys rode their asses off both days and you can tell from the number of good shots we got. Anyway, I will periodically post some more but here is what I got for now.

That toenine sequence is really honestly 1 trick later.

Now the real question is, is Colin really that good, or do I just drive the best double-ups on earth?

Andy, you do throw some massive double ups. But I think this toe 7 off the wake immediately after the toe 9 double up will put Colin up one more. (true story, you can check the metadata )

Any news on Colin Ryan yet? He was in the shop yesterday picking up Transgression and said that he was off to the Doc to see if the knife was going to come out.

Wooooah,,,that shot of him doing the raley through the spray of the other rider is insane!

J-rod, We were trying to get a shot of me Doing a huge wakeslash and Colin Doing a Hoochie over me. It sorta worked we will get it soon. That day we had to quit cause it was like 40 out side. Prety tricky cause when I pull the rope to do the wake slash it make the wake on Colins side tiny, so timing is key.

ha I just thought that you were trying to take him out. That is a sick shot though and I could only imagine how awesome it would be if he was actually over the spray, Talk about a cover shot. Nice riding from the both of you. Andy I noticed that you had the sequence of the melon 3 off the d in the 50 states issue of WBM. Nice work, you guys sure got some sick style.. Makes me want to get out the camera so I can show you guys what Tejas riders are doing down here.

We would have gotten it too if it wasn't for the three ropes behind the boat getting tangled in a gnarly mess! Plus it didn't help that we dumped the tuber/flasher once and he didn't know how to swim! Next time though, next time....

What is the camera setup, Ryan?

Stills were shot with a Nikon D200, Nikon 70-200 2.8vr lens and Nikon SB800 flash fired remotely with pocket wizards.

those are some of the best wake pics i've ever seen, especially the last one. you should submit that to wakeboard mag, i'd love to see a 2-page print of that. or at least post the full-size pic on a site somewhere? that's gorgeous, excellent work

I really like the shot of the wake slash where you can only see the water. Its coold see what heppens to the wake on the otherside of the slash.

Once i sort through Some More of this footage from those days...i may post up some more of the stuff ryan and i shot that day....kindof like a minnesota trailer or something...im keeping colins nightmarish hoochie off the dub and nintzels hangten to ass board under wraps though.
