Trailer question / help

So my emergency cable got pulled off my trailer tounge.. I cant seem to figure out where the heck this thing went.. any help would be greatly appreciated..

in the hole under the flap.

thanks mikeski! i thought it ran through that hole, what does it connect to once it runs through the hole??

hmm.. upon further inspection i think that that cable is supposed to have a piece of metal attached to the end of it? still cant figure out where the heck it goes..
