Hi guys, looking for some input. My stereo setup has a ws420 that I use to fade the tower and in-boat speakers (duh). When I have only the tower speakers cranked up on the eq they sound great, even too loud. When I turn the boat speakers up on the eq it makes the tower speakers distort at high volume. That's with both eq knobs set at ~3/4. The stereo around 30/35. I followed the guide Tim posted to tune it, and it sounds great with ONLY the tower speakers cranked. Is this normal? FWIW, it seems to be the bass notes that are distorting/clipping...I tried raising the freq cutoff for the tower amp but that didnt help.

The 3/4 setting is generally the max I use on the eq volume. Should I try lowering the eq level and turning up the gains on the amps? All of them are at basically 0 right now.

Any ideas?

call Gyver at wet sounds office 877.938.7757. Sounds like something isn't right never heard of that issue before. Are you sure the knob ring isn't getting stuck together? So when you turn up in boats tower is getting turned too by accident? They are entirely independent of each other
