Look underneath the floor where the pylon bolts into the hull. Make sure there's no cracking around the base. As long as that looks fine, you should be okay. I know people that don't even bolt their pylons into the brackets. (Really wierd to see someone just lift their pylon straight out of the floor. I'd never do it.) He's a 35off skier and hasn't ever had any problems. Anyway, all pylons flex so don't worry too much about it. Just make sure there's no cracking around the hull. ps - if no one else responds try posting this on the boats and accessories board.
