My pilot system, all of a sudden, doesnt seem to be working properly, it picks up mph (the sensor wheel under the hull is spinning fine) but the upper readings on the dial have crapped out. They just blink with the horizontal bar. Anyone have this experience? Any suggestions? Its a 2002 Hurricane. Thanks in advance.

No experience, but Faria has a lifetime warranty.

a lot of the pilot one gauges went bad, so much that centurion stoped using them. Give faria a call.

Faria Pilot one gauges sucks almost as much as their customer service!
I had one in a brand new boat and it had issues from day one, this was one of the reasons I only kept the boat 1 season.

Anyone know where the depth transponder is located? It sure would help with troubleshooting. I thought it would be near the odometer wheel transponder. I dont see it anywhere under there!

Kevin, thanks for the link. The top section has always been set to feet depth, with shallow depth alarm set to five feet. It just all of a sudden has a blinking horizontal bar which according to the manual "is a result of a disconnected or broken cable" wierd
