Two New videos from this past weekend with Christie Fisher, Greg Sanford, Henry Gonzales, Mike Owens, special appearances by Josh Fisher, and a little of me. Thanks Christie for the pull, and to the crew (posse, ha!) for a great day!

If you would not let your knees absorb the wake so much you would fly.

Clint, yes, you are right. That has been a big issue for me and I'm trying so hard to break that habit!! I want to fly, trust me!

Stefani,

Good video. I know you have been having trouble with your 180's so here is a little help for you. You seem to be straight legged when you land. This is causing you to spring back up when you land and then you get out of control. You need to land with your knees bent just like if you were doing a regular wake to wake jump. Look at your video again and you will see what I am talking about. Take this for what its worth.

Probably see you out there this weekend. Good luck.

Paul

Paul, I'm having all kinds of troubles out there, but actually, Christie is the one working on her 180's. She almost had it this weekend though, but then she faceplanted. That was shown on the second video. She is sooooo close. Thanks for your input, I know she'll appreciate it:-)

P.S. I'm the one that won't stand tall! haha

Sorry but that was directed at Christie.

Stefani, my daughter used to do the exact same thing you're doing (absorbing the wake). What helped her was to only take about a 5 foot cut into the wake. She always had more than enough speed to clear the wake however with only a 5 foot cut she had to rely on getting more air to jump instead of speed. Take it for what it's worth, it helped my daughter maybe it can help you out as well.

Paul - Thanks for the tip. It seems like I correct one thing and then do something else wrong, but I am sooooo close now. We will probably be out there on Sunday. Hope to see you out there!

Jon - Yes, I was up on the tower for a few of those shots (when Henry was riding). I love that camera angle.

Sick Vid.
You guys are tearing carpet!
Nice riding by all. Impressive - I have got to wipe the dust off my board and start riding my wake board again. I have been so busy with Surfing. Thanks for such an inspirational vid.

Alan, glad you liked the video. Let's get together and ride soon.

Ryan, glad you liked the video. The bands were:
1. Malibu's Most Wanted- Xecutioners, It's Goin' Down
2. Malibu Crashes- System of a Down, Toxicity

Very Nice video Stefani, I like the different angles. Also I got to see how Josh makes you guys look like you are going big. He could not get much lower lying down.
Christie, what can I say, I cringe every time I see those faceplants. Were you crying at the end of that video? I would be.
I also saw how you were standing tall at the landing and I have to agree that it impossible to keep control if you are already fully extended. Great form on the take off, great control in the air, the landing is the trick.

Hey Mark, thanks. Actually, Josh didn't take any of the video, he took still shots. I cringe too when Christie faceplants. Today she ended up with a bloody nose. Hopefully she'll put that in her video, hahaha! That girl gives me an ulcer:-)
