Why does everything seem to be going wrong at once? We were at the lake yesterday when we hooked a tree with the wedge on our 2000 Malibu. There was no damage to the gellcoat, fiberglass, prop, or rudder so I guess we're pretty lucky. We got the boat back on the trailer and were able to take the wedge off and go back out and slalom. My question now is can we just straighten the wedge with a press or do we need to try something else? And is there some other stuff we need to check to make sure nothing else has been damaged? I know I'm no the first to do this and I won't be the last. So if I could get some help from some of you malibu guys who have already gone through this that would be great!
