No teak oil after. I have never actually put it on myself. I bought the boat from a guy this past February and this is what he said he put on the teak. He tried a few different things, including teak oil, but he found Thompson's to be the best. It is a 2000 X-Star and is in awesome shape for being 7 years old...he took really really good care of it and was the only owner. When he did it, he only put the Thompsons water seal on it. It was usually done twice a season...once in the spring, and about midway through. Said it worked like a charm. We've been riding about 4-5 times a week since march 26th and so far i'm happy with it (he did it before he put it up for sale this winter).
