Been riding a 2008 LF Substance Grind now for a couple of months, and am well stoked with it. It's holding up to plenty of rail/kicker abuse, but I've still managed to pick up a couple of nasty nicks/gashes from evil sticky-out nails & rivets.

Anyone got any advice/good techniques for fixing these bases ? In the past, on the non-grind bases, I've used good old Apoxy Resin & wet'n'dry but I'm not too sure that'll work here ?

dude, the grind base is ptex like your snowboard. just go to a snowboard shop and pick up a ptex candle. you melt the candle and let it drip in the gouges and the scrape off the excess. its such a nice feature. so simple to fix.
