Just because they are pro wakeboarders doesn't mean they dont wakeskate too...

Rathy I know personally that he kills it on the skate...

Not taking anything away from JD, but no US wakeskaters went to the Worlds. The whole contest was lame, hardly and spectators, it sucked.

Well, yes he is, and he is good, but not up to the level of Grubb, Hampson, Daniels and so on.

Hair didn't do that bad this pro tour... even if grubb, hampson and daneils are there the results may have been the same... it says that he landed a backside bigspin... thats pritty much what you had to, to win a pro tour stop...

I heard Hair killed it. It wasn't even close. I heard he threw big spin, backside big spin, almost landed kick flip out of the pool and tore up the sliders. I saw him ride at nationals and he beat Phillip and Colin in the quarter finals. He ended up fifth at nationals and 7th at Pan Am. They said his run would have been podium and a very good shot at winning it no matter who was there. But it is too bad more US skaters didn't go.

Maybe they will make the tour with more sliders. It is not very interesting to watch wakeskating behind a PWC without a lot of obstacles. Parks, JD and Rathey kill the sliders on a skate. I think if you got these guys skating on the tour you would bring in a lot more spectators to the sport. Yeah I know, wakeskating is not about comps. But I love wakeskating and the comps bring it a level of respect you can only get with competitions.
