Hey, again with the slider questions, so many topics about them right? Yeah.

So anyways, I have a beach on my property, and my lakefront sits back in a cove a little bit, so I figured I'd build a starting pad and then drop the slider in leading out into the main channel. Essentially, I'd just hit it with a jetski or whatever. Now, since I'd be starting on land, I was wondering how far out in the water away from shore I'd need to put it to hit it at a decent speed.

Also, design tips on whether or not I could drive metal tubing into the ground to act as the primary anchors, and then be able to remove the slider for maintenance and stuff. I'd need to be able to pull it out so that I can dock my deckboat, which would have to be moved when the slider is in place, so as to not mess with the water of the other dock owners in the cove.
