I unfortunately did not bring my camera and I was late to the event. But for what I did see and heard about the riders prior to my arrival it was a good time and lots of good riding. With names like Derek Cook, Brady Sammons, Brodie (Just Brodie), Hoffman sisters, Jared (forgot last name), and some others the tallent level was high. The viewing area was spetaculsr as always the Delta King always has a good seat(Standing spot actually). The Epic made a quick appearance. For those of you that missed it, You missed a good weekday event and if they have any more this year (Hope they do) you should make it out.

It's usually every Thurs. At least it has been in the past. I never seem to make it down there though. I just forget.

However, this week I had an excuse. I finished my Spanish class, and now I am officially Sac State alumni.

Not cool. I always miss the good stuff.

Damn, now I guess I'll have to go out and ride more, and then get sponsored. Then I can go to tournaments, and see other good riders. .... RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!

Thanks for the 411 Rich.

We were discussing the tow vehicle when we were out riding on Wed night.... we figured who would show up to get pulled by a Sea Ray! I am kicking myself for not going out.
Robb, launching at Elkorn at 5 today, shoot me a text.

The event was a good time. I took my son with me and we had a great view of all of the riding. We didn't stick around for the after party since my son is only five so I was hoping someone would let me know who ended up winning all of the prize money. In my opinion Brady should have won both the Double up and the wake event and the last Hoffman girl that rode should have won the $100 for the girls.

The Sea Ray wake didn't look that bad either. I'm not sure how much weight they had in the boat, but from on top of the Delta King it looked pretty good.

Thanks Marine Max for putting on this event!! Fun times. Here's a few shots I got, sorry for bad quality. Thanks also to Mike for announcing-you always make it fun-Shelby and other judges, boat drivers, and special thanks to Rich Lane @ allpropertyfinancing.com for adding the $100 for Girls 1st. Raequel won. I think it went Brady Sammons, Derek Cook, Jaret Brantley for the guys but I missed the awards. Awesome riding by all!!

I am going to guess it is a Sea Ray 205 sport

Brady and DC managed to throw some big tricks behind it. They pulled the whole thing with just driver and observer in the boat as well and if there was any other ballast in it I couldn't see it. Chris thought it was small but firm. Also the first time he's ever ridden behind an I/O.

Renee, it was great to meet you and Tate too! Fun talking to Chris and Gary also. We really wanted to make it to the DRA last Sat. Looks like that was a great comp. We'll make the next one! Hope you guys have great water and cooler weather at Black Butte. Is that next weekend?
Rich, Chris had an awesome run! I always love to see his huge whirlys.

Actually, we'll be at Black Butte the weekend of the next DRA comp in August so we will miss that one. Hopefully we will see you at the Comp in September.
