I'm gonna be in Orlando on vacation here in a few weeks. I am wanting to go to a camp for a few days and was wondering if anyone had any advice/experience with any camps in that area. I've been wanting to hit Ride The Spot for awhile but was unsure if it is still up and running or not. Any tips or advice would be great. Also, I am only planning on going for 1 possibly 2 days. Will I still be able to learn a good deal? Thanks in advance.

Steve depends on what your trying to learn, 1 or 2 days should get you something if you work hard.

My recommendation, info@otownwatersports.com

If you've been wanting to go to Ride the Spot, do it. Even in a day or two you'll definitely learn something. I've been to a bunch of differnet camps, and IMO Darin is the best coach I've had and he's in the boat 100% of the time. A lot of the other camps, you never know who your coach is going to be.

I don't no if anyone has caught this but for the rates listed at ridethespot.net it is $70 cheaper to do 3 one-day lessons instead of 1 three-day lesson. Usually it should be the other way around

Jason, My guess is that the 3 day probably includes accomodations in the guest house.

The Boarding School is AWESOME! I went there as a student myself back in 06 and it was the best thing I've ever done. Best coaching, most fun, most relaxed camp I've ever come across.

The Boarding School has the perfect blend of fun and wakeboarding mixed together. You'll learn quickly and laugh your whole way through it, because after all, wakeboarding is supposed to be about fun..right?

Another vote for The Boarding School. It is the bomb. Relaxed, fun, great coaching. Shaun, Travis, Kyle and Robbie will tell you exactly what to do to improve. All you have to do is do it.
