what are your plans with it?

Depending on exactly what it needs, fix it up and make it into my wakeboat.

If the Stringers and floor are good I would say it is an ok deal. If you have to redo all that and the engine/transmission needs a bunch of work I would say not worth it.

Whats your budget with the cost of the boat and fix ups?

wouldnt be doubtful if that motor didnt work, but who knows it could be a jem. can you get any history from the guy?

Even if you had to rebuild the motor, it would still be a descent deal..... if you did it yourself.

Definitely a project though. Check the floor & stringers for rot.

For $1500?

I'd say done. Even if stringers are needed.

$1500 seems super cheap if it runs and need's little engine work. By the pictures it doesn't seem very well maintained but some time and money can fix that.

I guess after re-reading the description - and that he only had it briefly, I would wonder about what its life has entailed. I suppose I am not as enthusiastic as I was earlier on this.

The guys over at The2001.com or CorrectCraftFan.com would scoop this up enthusiastically, but this may not be for everyone. At 1500, it would make for a no-brainer for someone. Just not sure if that someone is you (or me).
