Since the economy is pretty bad and the interest rates are lower than ever...im deciding to buy a boat...question is what boat.

Choices are:
Super air 210
Super air 230
Mastercraft x-2

What boat would you guys want?

Talk about all over the board. You listed a 20' a 21' and a 23' boat. If it were me I would probably get the 230, but that is only because I like bigger boats.

Between the 3 230 no doubt about it.

I havent been in any of the CC's that you mentioned... at least new ones.

I like my X-2 though... I like it because it's a 20' boat... but still has TONS of room

Have fun with purchasing...

Many folks have told me that the X2 has a rampy wake and is hard to sink. For this reason, its off my radar for a boat to get. Please let me know if I am under the wrong impression.

Buy the 230 so I can take a few sets behind it

Hey Eric, noticed you are in MN. If you want to ride behind an X-2 let me know, I work at Midwest MasterCraft and we have a demo set up with an upgraded ballast kit so you can check out the stock wake and the bigger than stock wake.

well here you talk about a boat that is 15k-20k more expensive than a 210 and another 7-8 more than a x2 so honestly if you need the room go for a 230 if not go for the x2 but if you can afford the money and dont need the room and want to go with MC go with a MC X-Star and put a Custom Wrap.
Peace

230 for space and a pretty good wake when you add weight.

210 for the best wake stock!

X2 is a super little boat with a ton of room, also add weight!

I prefer the X15 to the X2. It's more comparable to the Nautiques on your list. Have you checked it out?

2400 lbs in a 20 footer. Sounds like a poor hull design

I'd say its a great hull design, more weight equals a bigger wake in any boat. Sure I sell MC but I've ridden in and behind BU's and CC's and we always run about 2500 lbs in 20-21 footers, a little more in the big guys.
