Whats up boyz?
This summer we got rid of our prostar 205 (that I used to winterize) and got a 00 SAN (that nautique winterized). My question is what do I need to do to de-winterize it or do I just press start and fill the ballast? I used to put the engine block plugs back in and simple battery connection but since nautique did everything do I need to do anything. Thanks guys! Its getting warm in NC and Im itching to try out my new vapor compvest, substance and transits!

I would hope that they put the plugs back in the block, manifolds etc. As long as you have winterized before you will basically know what to look for. I would start it up at home first (if you can) and check for leaks. You dont have to but you may want to lube the impeller to your ballast pumps with a little petrolium jelly if your pumps are totally dry. Just a little will do. Have fun man.

MONK - like what kind of jelly? I'm putting a system in now and the pumps have never been wet. I'm using aerators though, so I don't think this applies to me.. am i right?

Take it to the Nautique dealer and let them dewinterize it. You could really make some costly mistakes if you don't know everything that was done.

Nacho~ sorry it took me so long to get back. You can just use a little vasaline or some silicone grease. I did this on mine it's a reversible pump with an impeller in it. I'm not to sure on the aerator syestem. Sorry.
