My neighbors have one, about that year range and it looks to be th same as our old malibu... we ran like 1400~ lbs. like 1000 back 400 front, any more weight beyond that didn't really help at all, it just made the boat work harder..... best bet is to just play around with it, get rubbermade tubs and fill those, when you find right amounts buy fatsacs or something to mimmic what the tubs did, then you're not out to much money either way

I had a 1000lbs sack in the back of mine. It will never get a huge wake as the hull is specifically designed for skiing but it's not bad. Like Nick said, just play around with it.

We had a '93 Brendella and when we'd weigh it down, the back seat would get soaked from the spray coming off the rear sides of the boat. It gets pretty bad, like a huge wall of water. It was a great boat, though.
