Hopefully I am going to get some chase footage from a jetski tomorrow but had a quick question.

If I have a decent driver, there shouldn't be any problems with getting the camera wet, falling in, etc, right ?

Overall, any tips in general ?

Thanks

If your on or near the water there's always a chance of getting your camera/gear wet. There are no guarantee's if your using a housing either.

S&*t happens.

I dunked $5k of gear shooting from a jetski, with a good driver. Insurance covered it all, but it happens. We got into the wrong place shooting a double-up.

Ended up just using a center console outboard, but most of the footage was extremely shaky because of the boat.

Still got some shots I guess.

I regularly film w/o my waterproof gear from a waverunner and have no problems other than the occasional spray from a rider cutting in. DO IT... but stay on your toes and keep a towel handy incase.

First, insure your gear. Then go for it. Have a towel handy for the occasional splash like Luker says.
