I've spent an hour searching, but does anyone know of any Mercruiser On Line manuals?

I left my clymer at home today, but wanted to pick up some lube onthe way home tonight.

Hope this helps

Change your outdrive oil and engine oils frequently. Can you believe that I have had owners tell me that they didn't even know that the lower unit is filled with oil? Well, it is. And not just any oil either. Use the specific oil that the manufactuer recommends.
Older and newer "R" and "Alpha" drives can use Mercury Marine's Premium Blend Lower Unit Oil but they now say it's better to use the green looking stuff called High Performance Blend. All the Bravo drives HAVE to use the High Performance Blend or they will experience clutch problems. The newer Generation 2 Alpha's also use the High Performance Blend.

It is from :

Thanks, but I needed the manual to see which of two reservoirs are outdrive.

My Merc has all reservoirs inside the motor compartment. Just can't remember which is which and how much oil to get.

Oh well, there's always tomorrow. Thanks though.

Incase you don't want to wait, and if you have a 4.3 merc i/o similar to mine:

My outdrive reservoir is located at the back right, near the top (belts towards the bow). Outdrive oil is typically green.

If you don't change outdrive lube in the reservoir (just disconnect and pinch), you will need approx. 40 ounces of lube.

Is the other reservoir the on the floor of the compartment, right side? That one is probably the hydraulic trim/tilt fluid. That one uses brownish oil.
