ok i used the handle and rope today... no good im not pleased the handle is hard and your hands fall asleep fast... the blackwidow line or whatever its called i didnt like it either yea is super skinny and strong but it doesnt even float so it went underneath the boat... but thats just me.

No offense but the driver shouldn't let the line get to where it could go under the boat.... As far as the handle, i'm dissapointed, Watson had a good handle last time but it feel apart and now this?!!

He had that white one back in like 2004 I think... Shane had one then too that was kind of like the Byerly grip. Both handles feel apart horribly fast. The grip came unglued at the seem down the 15" handle. Both handles felt amazing first set out. This new Watson handle is alot different then the year(s) past.

The 2005 and older Accurate Premier handle is still my handle of choice... Every year Byerly handle is really sweet too, smaller diameter then the Premier.

I have the older premier handle and it's by far my favorite handle, I also liked the straight line carbon handle but carbon handles don't look to good after like a week of riding. If they were more durable it would be sick.

Set it out on the dock in the hot sun, or put in (almost) boiling water, it will soften up.

Hopefully.

I know lots of guys who did that with the 04ish Premier handle.

I agree paul, however I just got ahold of a Straightline eclipse carbon handle and love it... same as the vortex from like 2 years ago. Carbon or not doesn't make a difference to me, but this handle is pretty comfy and I was able to score it wayyyyyy below retail at a local shop, so it was def worth it

I really love the LG series grip from proline. Some of the very first models had a glitch where the padding underneath the grip came apart but they corrected it, and if you happen to get a bad one they will send you another one no questions asked. I would reccomend this handle to anybody, it is sooo comfy!

Wouldn't boiling water deactivate the glue?!

Thats what I was thinking Paul. I wouldent boil my handle.

just buy a 2002ish-2005 Accurate Premier, or Byerly handle, and you wont be dissapointed.

ps. Angels And Airwaves is the ####

meh, angels and airwaves are way overrated. i was going to buy the album but i listened to it and was like "ummmm...is it just one big song?"

"the adventure" is a good tune though.

end hijack.

Boiling the handle in water is not a good idea. Wash it on a regular basis with dish soap, this will soften it up.
