Can anyone give me a good online site for a set of tower speakers for an illusion tower. Looking for a good set of pods. Can anyone give a good recommendation that won't break the bank?

To be more specific, not looking for speakers to play while boarding. We would usually only play them when anchored and swimming. I'm not a stereo guy, and don't know anything about these products. Does anyone know about the polk db speakers sold on audioformz.com?

Any of the recommendations people have given will work. I prefer a 6.5" speaker when not looking to throw the sound back to 80ft. It really comes down to look. Check them all out and keep your boat looking like you just dropped $55k on it.

I am kind of a biased user. Our wakeboard club is sponsored by both Wetsounds and Lucky Devil Designs. LDD got us racks and wetsounds got us speakers. Both are awesome companies with great ideas and customer service. They also support the grass root events which I think is a big deal. It all depends on what type of speakers you are looking for. If you want custom CNC speakers with good sound around the boat, then I would go with LDD. If you want to hear the music while riding, then I would go with wetsounds.

It is good to see that we have narrowed it down to 10 different brands! I guess it really depends on what you are looking for, and what company will offer you the best service.

I have to agree with Leo, but I think my Wetsounds Pro 80s also sound good around the boat as well as Great while riding.
You will be happy if you go with the Wet Sounds, They Sound Great.

Wetsounds is coming out with a 6.5" HLCD speaker in May. I think it will be cheaper than pro 80 and will look good in stock locations.

"For the boat, won't break the bank, Illusion tower"

Maybe a couple pairs of 6.5" cans, Lightning and Liquid trends have options. If the price goes over $800 you may want to re-think the purchase. At that point it may be better to go with something like the Pro-80's. Watch the classifieds, maybe you can get a set of factory take-offs.
