Did they eleminate the double-up seat in the play pen? Thats our extra ballast.

Those boats look pretty nice. How solid are the towers on them? I looked online at the LTS COMP and it's really competatively priced, given that noone else makes a wake boat under 20 feet. Is the base motor enough for these boats?

Everyone needs the ballast Bryan has. Nice boats, getting better every year

The double up seating is still there. The towers are super solid, much better than any previous tower. The Supras are coming with 325 hp MPI engines this year. This is plenty enough power for every boat in the lineup. You might want to consider the 340 MPI for the 24 footer though.

Is the wake better on the 21v than the 22ssv Jon?

I knew it - altho i am a Supra owner and a big Supra fan - they said (search the archives) they made the 21 foot launch d-drive into a v-drive to test it and it drove funny.... Hmmm i think they just wanted me to buy a 22SSV, then upgrade to the 21v - if this boat is really based on the original Launch - this boat will be the one to beat hands down. Tower is a bit funky, but better than that stupid Cobalt front end Mastercraft put on the x-star.
If the 21v really is the deep hull of the 21 d-drive, my 22SSV will go up for sale next spring and count me in on this new 21v.

Thanks Supra - just should have told us that it "was in the works" not that it drove funny ;-)

Darren,

I wouldn't say the wake is better than the 22SSV. Its just a little Different. Imagine taking the 22SSV wake and putting about a half a foot more lip and transition upwards. That is what the 21V will be like. Its my favorite boat in the lineup, wake and boat.

The 21V does not drive funny at all. Possibly some R&D boats did before they got a final version. It felt very solid and handled chop great. It is the same hull as the original Launch, now Launch 21. You have to see the tower in person, its sweet and very solid.

I can see the 21V totally replacing the 22SSV

the 24V has the best wake I have ridden of the large boats 23'+ including the XLV, LSV, and the new Xstar for grins.

the 21V is very good looking in person and drives well. didn't get to ride it yet but i can't wait.

If any of you are the Houston/Dallas area around sept 18th. We at Gulf Coast Wakeboarding are holding our last event of the season. The boat pulling the show will be the new Supra 21V. In the morning 4 lucky people will get a chance to ride her.

half a foot of lip and transition sounds like a much better wake to me... I want the 21V!
maybe some day, or maybe one of the rich folk on my lake will buy it and let me ride it

Also, if you are in the Dallas Area, here is what is going on on Sept 19th..

Waterski Boats Dallas and Cottonwood Creek Marina have teamed up to host the inaugural DFW Supra and Moomba Boat Owners Reunion. CCM is located on the North Side of Lake Lewisville in Little Elm, Texas.
The marina is just a short boat ride away from any boat ramp on Lake Lewisville, or, if you are already in the area, there is a public boat ramp in the Little Elm City Park!
Bring your boat, bring your friends and BYOB! A FREE Bar-B-Q, courtesy of CCM, will be provided, so come hungry!

The 2005 Supra/Moomba line up will be on display as well! The new boats, including the much anticipated Launch 21V, and the all new, super sized Launch 24V will be in the water, ready for you to take them for a spin!

For more info, please contact me at marty@waterskiboatsdallas.com

Thanks!
