The cc and maribu Japan Selling agency went bankrupt .
There is no dealer in Japan now.
A new cc and maribu selling agency can do.
However, there is no demonstration boat.
mc and supra and tiga have a demonstration boat.
Therefore, I want information.
buys 05 new model.
As a candidate is maribu Wakesetter VLX or Super Air Nautique.
By the large boat is Wakesetter LSV or Air Nautique 226.
As hope in boats, great wake and high air and Reliability and Durability.
Hard-core wakeboard is Wakesetter VLX or Super Air Nautique? , These are the boats of 21 Feet grade.
However, the 23 feet boat is used recently
OFFICIAL WAKESTOCK TOWBOAT is Wakesetter LSV.
WWA Wakeboard World Championships is Air Nautique 226.
Why is 23 feet used recently [ ? ]?.
Is 23 feet better for a pro than 21 feet ?.
Which does you like? 21 feet or 23 feet and wakesetter or air.
MC and CC are famous and popular in Japan.
MARIBU is not famous in Japan.
However, Malibu is my candidate.
why?
MARIBU is famous in the United States and is popular.
Even if I decide on maribu.
Wakesetter VLX or Wakesetter LSV. cannot decide.
Even if I decide on CC.
Super Air Nautique or Air Nautique 226 . cannot decide.
I want a large space.
But, Which is suitable for the Wakeboard ?
What do you think?.

It sounds like you have your mind set on Malibu.
They make a great boat but you yourself said there is no dealer in Japan.
That will make service/warranty work a problem. Also, resale value may be hurt if 'Malibu is not famous in Japan'.
Your other candidates also make awesome boats that we love in the United States.

The Air Nautique is a big boat. I know several good wakeboard riders who have ridden behind one and they have reported that the wake is not as nice as the Super Air Nautique. It is reported that the wake is much wider (distance to go wake to wake) and that the wake is more round towards the top and does not provide as nice of a "ramp".
If there is no dealer in Japan, how would you purchase a boat?
If you need to purchase the boat from the USA and have it shipped to Japan then I would recommend taking a vacation to the USA and riding behind the boats that you are considering. There are lots of people here on Wakeworld that would be willing to give you a ride behind their boat (I could give you a ride behind a Super Air Nautique). My local Correct Craft dealer occasionally has a demonstration day where they take a few of their boats to a local lake and let prospective buyers have rides behind them.
Unfortunately, this is the wrong time of year to be demonstrating boats!

I know there are Svfara dealers in Japan.... Not one of the big 3, but a solid wakeboard board nonetheless.

You might also want to check out SVFARA boats. It's my understanding that a good portion of their production is sent over to Japan. http://www.svfara-japan.com I assume they have some for demonstration. It's the #2 selling tournament boat in Japan Might have better luck with service etc...? My personal favorite though would be the '05 Malibu VLX, 21.5 feet long, lots or room and pro-size wake.

If its all about having a good wake for you but you still wanta bit of space then definitly go for the VLX it is Malibus flagship wakeboard boat, throws a mean wake and has the space you need.
Forget the LSV.

i,m from the netherlands and the malibu dealer in our country doesn,t have the new models untill januari.I have set my mind on the new 2005 vlx it is pretty big and throws a pretty good wake.If you want to go hardcore you can always add more ballast on top of the factory ballast.with the extra bow tank and a wedge i,m pretty shure you can fine-tune the wake to your needs.
I tested a 2004 LSV and a 2003vlx the stock wake on a lsv was solid but not that high(wedge down 4 mls full).the wake on the 2003 vlx was awesome.
both boats handeled very good..better then a correct craft 210 (IMO)the 210 seemed to tipped over to the side when weighted fully.somehow you couldn,t make a turn with 50% throttle without tipping over but there was only 6-7 ft deep water.very nice boat though.
now i have not seen a 2005 VLX in person but they are a little bit bigger then the old vlx models,i think that is a perfect set up.
do some research at malibuboatowners.com and you will find alot of 2005 pics.i have only seen 2 pictures of the 2005 vlx wake untill now.
if you have any more questions you could mail me. The malibu dealer is only 15 minutes drive and i could shoot some (2004)pics or copy the new 2005 brochure and mail it to you.

Mashiro (hiro)- Hello there. I was in Florida at a wakeboard camp in April and I met two guys there from Japan. Do you know who they are? June is a pro- snowboarder that just started wakeboarding.And his friend who is the rep. for collective developlent in Japan his name is BK.

Hiro san, have you looked for a used Toyota Epic in Japan? They were shipped from Florida to Japan, but if you can find one, you'll have one of the best built, most fuel efficient towboats around. Another option is the Cleaver, which is a Japanese version of the Epic with the same great engine but less luxury. It stopped, although I thought the method of an arrangement to CC.
It is the problem of the selling agency in Japan too.
A new maribu dealer can do.
I buy VLX or X-STAR.
Since Japan has a demonstration boat, it rides shortly .
However, since VLX does not have a demonstration boat, it cannot compare personally.
Please let me know the information on this comparison.

I am in Tokyo working for the rest of the year, and would love to ride. I miss my Mobius back in the states. Do you know of any place (cable park, camp, lessons, etc.) where I can ride while I am out here??? Thanks.

Hey, I'm from Down under(Australia), our best wakeboard boat is the Lewis Challenger(23ft).. they sell alot of boats to Japan, they are alot cheaper for you guys than Mals, Nautiques ETC, because our dollar is low.. We have one and I believe the wake carves up any boat I've been behind, Tige, Mal, Nautique all of em.. No offence..
