WOW!

That gave me goosebumps just watching it. Any idea how fast you need to go?

I can't imagine the medical liability for when someone lets go 20 feet in the air going 25MPH and breaks their neck.

I would still probably do it, if I thought I wouldn't fall off.

Man, I was thinking how cool it would be with a much longer rope so you could go higher!!

Parasailing is dead!!

What happens when it does a 180 in the air :-)

One cool thing I noticed watching the video is there is a clear panel in the bottom so you can see where you're going...

I agree.. how about some real power and a 50 foot rope.. Yeeeehhhaaaawww!!!!!!

How much? Looks like the products are priced at 1500 Euros and up (based on the model). That would be about $1900 US.

Watched it again. Looks like the rider has to pull up on the front of the tube when he's ready to launch - better than just having it take off. Maybe even a bit of steer while in the air by pulling on one side or the other.

As for price, isn't the euro right around a buck?

No the euro is currently 1 Euro = 1.2745, which seems close but like keith said 1500 euros is $1911.75 us dollars. This is a really cool concept although could be very dangerous, but in my opinion a little overpriced for a flying tube. If it is so light in order to be airborn what is it made out of and could it rip easily? I know even the expensive tubes on the market today rip very easily and I would think this would rip even easier. --Just my opinion.

That looks like too much fun to me. But what about cross winds? How about a tailwind gust?

think of it as a kite its just aerodynamics, enough speed/aerodynamically correct object will lift regardless of weight! will lift almost anything.. just check out our military aircraft.

I would think it could be done for a little cheaper. Found this on another site

OMG how did our video get on wakeboarder.com
This is me and my friends out at lake Hiawassee in Oklahoma. Wow, this is crazy. We were gonna go wakeboarding but due to the great oklahoma wind the water was choppy as hell. We discovered that this tube could take off around 35 mph by playing a trick on our friend who claimed that you could not come off of this tube because it is too big. Well we proved him wrong and made a new sport i guess. We will try to get some more footage of this next season if you like.
P.S.-They dont have a clip of me doing it on this video but trust me it hurts!!!
