I have an 80feetout 4 6x9 box with 4 boston NX-97 speakers run off of an old kenwood amp at approx. 230 watts each at 2 ohm. If you go to the website at www.80feetout.com its the blue box in there pics and theres one of my tower in the customer photo section. And it is really loud and sounds great.........Much thanks to the guy's at 80 feet out.

I don't think I can even list all the things on my tower. 1.) Custom side mirror 2.) Home made flag holder 3.) Bimini 4.) Custom 4-6x9 speaker box 5.) 2 CC board racks 6.) 2 Boss board racks I think I counted a total of something like 18 clamps. Chris Get the Grip you Deserve www.wakejunky.com

I used Warlocks for a stereo install this year, great guys to deal with!! I just sold my b-530's so I'm looking for a new speaker set up. That liquid trends box on Wild bills boat is awesome. Really fits the tower well. I thought I knew what I wanted but after seeing gramps set up with the extra b'60's, maybe I won't let my 530's go after all.

Mike T, I like my set-up a lot, I think it is loud enough for both the people in the boat and a rider no problems at all back to 85'. I have a separate tower control so I can fade the sound out or into the tower and out or into the cabin, it works great to me. Tom, The type of MB's and components that are in the cans do make a difference in how they sound in my opinion, do you have Discus, Reference, Premium or Q-series. I also lined all my speaker cans with Dynamat and then took a thin layer of clear silicone all around the opening when I put the speakers onto the cans making them pretty air-tight. I think they sound much better having the Dynamat in them, it took the high ping out of them.

Justin I did an install with 2 12" momo subs a JL Audio 1000-1 running them and a 10" with a 5 channel running it. They hit really nice and sound great for the money.

On that note, where's the best place to get speakers at the best price? I'm in So Cal, does everyone just order them online? Gramps, Thanks for all your assistance. I decided on the 05 VLX and told the family, they're just going to have to wait until I find a deal and get it built...I figure we can start buying accessories now

Phaeton & xxxl wake, Another question about the Polk subs. . .How did you mount them in the kick panel under the drivers side? Did you build a box using the kick panel as the front part of it? If so, what kind of material did you use for the box? I have a 1997 Super Sport and am thinking about puting a 12" Polk Momo sub under the drivers side and I was wondering if I could use the kick panel as the front of a box and then just build the rest of it out of marine grade plywood. Thanks for the help.

I used 3/4" particle board for the rest of the box and used the factory front cover. XXXL has a seperate box built all together for his sub.
