Blew my 08 Shane limiteds this weekend, ripping the liner all the way out of one, and half way out the other, tearing the footbed from the boot part. Their website says I need an original receipt, but these were a gift from my now ex-girlfriend and I have no clue where she got them. Am I SOL and need to buy another pair, or is their warranty department cool to work with?

warranty is normally pretty cool. just tell them that they where a gift. worst thing that happens is they say no. but i doubt that will happen

they usually need something as far as a receipt or a bank statement for proof of purchase. i warrantied my 08 watsons and didnt have my receipt, so dude said i needed the bank statement then. that sucks tho w/a gifting situation. not sure what would happen give one of the lf reps a call and c what they have to say?

Wasn't the baseplate, but the liner ripped around where the upper boot of it meets the padded footbed
I'll give them a call.....was planning on a trip for the weekend so need to know what to expect
