Good to hear about Stef's leg, I was standing right there when it happened, and was on the side when Rusty pulled her out and said it was broke, I figured it wasn't as bad as we thought cause the ambulance stuck around for a while!!

Can't wait to see the pics, I bet I'm in a couple lol

Stef really wasn't feelin the winch on Friday night, she's a great rider, but the winch operator ran it to slow for her the first time and she sunk, and then to fast the next time and it yanked her out. When she finally got something managable, it was still a little fast and she missed the ollie on her first run. on the next one she popped the ollie on to the rail, lost the board, held onto the handle, and got yanked into the next pool, her leg hitting the rail on the way in. I was standing right there, and hoping that nothing happened, but when she didn't jump up right away walked over to the pool to check on her. Rusty saw something was wrong, ran out jumped in, and picked her up and handed her out. Carried her over to the bus, and called the ambulance, didn't hear any word on how she was doin after that, but as nacho said Rusty and Geiger both told us 'That $#|t was broke." I'm really hoping it's not to serious, but the way it looked it definitely could have been.

she wasn't feelin it for sure. it happened fairly early in the event, so they were still getting the winch speed figured out... i guess? winch speed was noticeably jacked up. you could see riders get yanked midway through the rail.

i'll try to get pics up. again...

Yeah, I don't think it was rider error, she's a great rider, just went from pulling 190 pound guys to a prolly 130 pound girl with an amateur winch operator. unfortunate for sure!!
