new bindings, they are really tight - 2005 3DS

So, I just got a new pair of Medium 2005 3DS bindings. I spent some time with shaving cream in the bathtub and I finally got my foot in. Holy crap they were tight. My foot was turning white, so I decided to try and pull out...yea, that was chore.

So, did I buy bindings that are too small? Or should I do something to stretch them out?

I wear between a 9-9.5 shoe. My feet are probably a little bit on the wide side...I'm a 9 in length but most 9 sizes are to cramped for me.

from my understanding, 3ds's are supposed to be narrow, but you should prolly bump up a size to be safe

I ride the '05 3DS with a 9.5 foot and I have the M/L. I wouldn't like the idea of trying to get in/out of the medium personally.

If I return these my only other choice is the large. Loren, how do you like them?

I have a size 10 foot, and I used to rock those boots in a size medium.

yeah breaking them in sounds right...i just went for my first time last weekend and i ride the 06 Fuze...i had to use soap to get them on and i also had to get some soap to get them off. maybe im a pansy, but now they come off fine.
