Here are my thoughts, in no particular order, compared to other vests I've worn . . . It is relatively long. Two buckles means it doesn't flip up/ride up on a crash like the helium and Jet Pilots I've owned do. More restrictive than the Helium Swat and Jet Pilot Falcon. Floats better than both of those. Looks like a CGA vest (fool the sheriff). The foam panel in the back (top section) got folded over in a crash and I had to cut open the neoprene to unfold it - it is Duct Taped on the inside which makes me look a little ghetto. Overall, I kept it and gave away the Jet Pilot Falcon in the Christmas Giveaway thread this year. I rode the falcon all year - very comfortable - but in the end hated all the repair work I had to do at the end of each day. The friggin strap always got wedged up behind the lower foam panel and the dam jacket would fold in half on the slightest of fall. Bye bye Jet Pilot.
