Castaic today

So I often check out conditions at Castaic using this website:

It has current and a 3-day record of wind and temps. There is also a web cam.

looks pretty damn smooth if you ask me. Then again I always go on the weekend and the water is blown out by 9.

Actually, the seaplane is what caused me to post. Is that a regular sight there?

first time ive ever seen it, but they do film for fear factor there whenever they are at a lake.probably not part of it though.

Never seen a seaplane at Castaic. Saw a HUGE rescue helicopter just above the West Launch ramp last year taking two people away because they crashed their seadoos.

Castaic is closed today until 2pm for water treatment. That is probably the reason for the plane...not fear factor.
