I have a Boost dry suit that is leaking on a seam. Anyone know what I should use to seal it ?

I found the hole and it's not on a seam like I had first thought. But I still need to know what to use to patch it if anyone knows.

Duct tape on the inside and outside..... maybe a tent patch repair....

Or, it's an oneill so you can send it in have them repair it

I was thinking a cycle tube patch on the inside but I think I better call oneil first.

They do make a glue like stuff to repair drysuit seals. Call a scuba shop for best results.

Hey...What up Jeff ?

I actually have some of that stuff for the neck/arm seals but wasn't sure if it was ok to use on the suit itself.

Walt I just spoke to Oniell and they do make a cement to repair them. If you want to fix it that way let me know. You'll just have to make your way to Livermore or I can send it to you.

Myke,

Thanks but I'm hoping to use it tomorrow so I need to take care of it now. I'm going to call and see what my options are.

Sounds good, just let me know if you decide you need it.

If you can't get it repaired I do have a small & x-large if one of those is your size you could borrow for the day.

Walt, I have glue to fix it, along with a patch. Call me, I will be home at a reasonable hour tonight. Aquaseal can work. It is about $8.00 or so from a dive shop.

I thought I had your number but can not find it.

Well as I was going through my stuff in the garage I found a dry suit patch kit that my neighbor gave me a long time ago.

It looks like the same material as the dry suit and I just ironed it on and it's a done deal.

Thanks for the help guys ! It's nice to know help is only a click or two away.
