Mercruiser belt fraying...

I know some of you guys with late model Mercruiser 's had some belt fraying issues, mine just started this past weekend. Does anyone have the service bulletin info on this. I want to have a reference for the dealer when I take it in. I mentioned it to them before at my 50 hour service, and he told me he knew of it and would check mine...obviously he didn't.

I don't know the number, but it is a recall on the pulley.. They just add a shim if I'm not mistaken. Haven't had a problem since.

I have the bulletin in PDF format. I emailed it to you. I had the same problem and even though the dealer said it was fixed, I still carry a spare belt in the boat.
