I am looking into purchasing my first ski boat, had I/O before. Came across a 2001 Moomba Mobius for 23,500 delivered from TX to MA, asking 22K for boat + delivery. Has upgraded engine,330HP,racks,ballasts,sub,amp,tower spkrs,245hrs,cover,wakeplate on back,no perfect pass or heaters. Is this worth it? Since it is my first major purchase I am reluctant to buy something so far away. Also I am learning to wakeboard so is this a good one to start on, I really only try and slalom for now. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated...thanks and have a good one...Nick

I would never make a boat purchase at this level w/o at least seeing the boat myself. I'd also insist on a water test before a deal is final. Having the engine checked out by a qualified mechanic is a good idea also. Only then can you begin to speculate whether it is worth it. Remember, there are plenty of great deals out there. Take your time.
