I have this guy and his shop in Mid Cal who's been servicing my boat for about a year and has always done a good job. He has also always given me good deals on equipment (e.g. Liquid trip force 154 with Nice bindings all for $400.00). He's proposing a stereo set up that goes like this and that i wanted some feedback on: one 10" Boss subwoofer aka the "Ripper" for $109.99, two pairs of 6 1/2" Deafcon III's with each pair having 4" tweeters attatched to them for $1100.00, a 1000 watt Boss C-450 4 channel amp aka as "Chaos" for $220.30, a perko switch for $28.95 and a deep cycle batter for $175.00. I ALREADY HAVE a stock sony disc stereo and 4 sony speakers in the boat. He will run the Deafcons and the subwoofer off the 4 channel amp and throw in another 600 watt Boss 2 channel amp for $195.00 to run the speakers inside the boat. Meanwhile he will create the 2-battery set-up to power the whole thing. This comes to a grand total of just under $2100 not including tax installed and out the door. My questions is: does anyone have experience with Boss amps and subwoofers and also isn't this a pretty cheap price for all of this?
