I live right on the water, so theres no harm in just leaving the fat sacs filled up and in the boat 24/7 right? Besides smelly water right?

It's fine but it might get a little funky if it gets water under it.

Your boat will be sitting lower in the water so waves could come over the bow or stern easier. If you don't want the water to get funky just empty and refill once a week or so.

I'm talking about water in-between the carpet and fatsack. A cap full of bleach in the sack will fix the water inside.

If you keep it on a lift, that is added weight to account for.

on the lift maybe hard on the boat as well as the lift..... sitting in the water I see no problem

why not just go with lead if you are not trailering the boat
