Cut my hand (not badly) on a grab last night with my 07 Absolute Platty. I've read a few people doing this and laughed, but now I truly have office hands too. It is a sad day, haha. Still my favorite board!
Every time I grab my Parks next to the fins I'm playing with fire. I have received a little slice before but nothing to post up about, just need to learn to grab the board right and not towards the fins!
If your bored make it a crazy story! You hit this massive DU and came out of your binding, in the air you grabbed your board and put it back on before your HUGE air landing and sliced your pinky on the way down. Damn, I guess I'm board a work!
i have the same problem with my absolute plat. I've had a foot come out of the bindings and had the tail slice my ankle, it actually peeled it like a potato. Took forever to heal.
That happened to me once on my Absolute as well during a crash. I didn't even notice it until a few minutes later and it took me a while to figure out what happened.
my old gator skin cut my wrist once... I didn't notice till someone at school called me an emo kid, I told them I got it wrestleing a gator. much better story. much less believeable.
i've gotten fiberglass splinters from my 06 Premier a few times from the ABS, but I can't even attempt an Alligator attack story... thats just way outta my league
