Glass tonight on the Niagara River

So I got out tonight for the first time after having the 12 staples taken out of my head. Needless to say I was rockin' my new Pro Tec Ace Wake. I loved wearing it, and plan to make it something I will strap on right after my vest for every ride.
Anyways, here are some pictures of the glass on the Niagara River from tonight just upstream of the falls. You will see the mist in the background of the one pic. The water was freezing, but so worth it for the glass. Upload

I grew up in Jamestown and used to go up there a lot. How far is that pic from the falls? Is that old barge still stuck there?

is that the CNN tower in the back ground?
How cold was the water?

Not sure how far we were from the falls, probably around a mile. Yes that is the CN tower in the background. The water temp was 62. Only had on a rash guard and vest. Are you talking about the barge off the side of the Robert Moses? - if so...yes there is still one there.

What? That's not the CN tower in the background. You can't see Toronto's skyline from the Niagara River.

Haha, sorry for the mistake. Makes sense that you can't see it from that far away, but it looks similar. Damn, thats a great view of the tower...haha
To be honest, I was confused when I saw the pic, it took me a good 30 seconds to notice the arrow pointing at the tower in the corner.
