I think that many wakesurfers on this forum are from the west cost and maybe a few from the east cost. The transition from surfing to wakesurfing is something you could do in an after noon.

I’d be interested to know how many readers of this forum are land-locked like I am. I live right in the center of Ohio.

I know you will laugh but I live an hour and a half from the beach and for me that is land-locked. I grew up 3 blocks from the beach.

I also grew up 3 blocks from the beach. Now I live 3 hours from the beach. S o I guess I could be land locked but nothing close to you Ed. I think we have the better of the 2 worlds though, consistant surf on demand, only fight is with your crew as to who rides next, no sharks.

im just the oppisite, i surf everyday and wake surf when the oceans flat. just lucky i guess. J Wadd whats up bro!!

I'm land locked here in AZ. I've only surfed once in Hawaii but love to wake surf.

Only an hour from the Gulf of Mexico but, the surf is better behind my boat.

I'm in Idaho. I have never surfed in the ocean but love to surf behind my boat.

Moved from 10 mins from the beach in socal to 3+ hours here in Austin. Have to agree with riverrunner... surf is better (and definitely more consistent) behind the boat
